DESCRIPTION: Piperylene fraction is a product, obtained in the process of isoprene production by isopentane two-stage dehydrogenation method. Piperylene fraction of “Purified” grade is obtained after concentration at the rectification unit.

APPLICATION:Used as solvent for petroleum products, in manufacture of synthetic rubbers as well as an extracting agent for the extraction of benzene, also applied in paint industry for synthetic drying oil production.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Packing:Piperylene fraction is poured into rail tank cars or tank containers. Rail tank cars or tank containers must comply with applicable requirements and standards. Filling degree of rail tank cars or tank containers should conform to the established standards.
Transportation: By railway piperylene fraction is transported in bulk in special-purpose tank cars or tank containers designed for the pressure, dispatch type – carload, container shipment in accordance with all rules of cargoes’ transportation, applied to this transport means.
Storage:To be stored in hermetically sealed steel containers (stationary tanks, tank cars) under nitrogen blanket, containing max 0.1% of oxygen in compliance with standards and requirements applicable to the Pressure Equipment.
Guaranteed Shelf life:
2 (two) months from the date of production. After the expiration of the guaranteed shelf life, piperylene fraction can be used for its intended purpose after confirmation of its conformity to the requirements of currently valid TU.
